Nevermind_ScreenShot_4One of SGS&C 2012 most unusual finalists games, Nevermind, was nominated for the Most Innovative award at the 2013 Games for Change Festival to be held next week in New York City.  Nevermind is a psychological horror game set within the minds of psychological trauma patients that uses biofeedback sensor technology, a heart-rate monitor, to help the player learn how to better manage stress levels.  If you are going to the Games for Change Festival, you might want to make it a point to catch Team Nevermind’s mastermind and Creative Director, Erin Reynolds, give her talk on the game’s goals and challenges, and her vision for the future of video games.

Good luck to Nevermind in next week’s competition!
