SGS&C is now soliciting sponsorship for its 2013 challenge and showcase. So, why become a SGS&C sponsor? There are many benefits to a generous company or organization. Sponsors get their logo proudly displayed on the SGS&C website and booth at I/ITSEC. Some sponsors also get their logo displayed on lobby boards at I/ITSEC which are sure to be seen by all attendees. Others get the privilege of presenting awards to finalist winners at the ceremony on the last day of the conference. Details can be found on the I/ITSEC website.
New this year is the Students’ Choice Award. The SGS&C has partnered with the Orange County Public School System (OCPS) in Florida to evaluate and select the best Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) and educational game as determined by students. From the pool of finalists selected to showcase their games on the I/ITSEC exhibit floor, appropriate STEM and educational games will be identified, played and evaluated by OCPS Middle and High school students. Thousands of students will see the sponsoring logo as they play the games and select the winner of the Students’ Choice Award.
Past SGS&C sponsors typically renew their support annually having been very happy with the benefits and experience. Charlie Frye, General Manager of Novonics Orlando Office says sponsoring “provides Novonics Corporation a great venue to align ourselves with our goal of providing innovative training solutions.” Erik Sand, Vice President of Business Development at 360Ed, Inc. says that “being a part of this experience (SGS&C sponsorship) has been quite rewarding on many levels.”
SGS&C also has specific and limited in-kind sponsorships available. To see 2013 sponsors to date and get the complete story on open sponsorship opportunities, please visit our sponsorship page. Your company or organization can be part of transforming the way education and training is delivered!
Inside the Challenge is an occasional series about process of conducting the Serious Games Showcase & Challenge (SGS&C).
