The Serious Games Showcase & Challenge (SGS&C) submission window for 2024 has closed and the Organizing Committee led by Matt Becchio, 2024 SGS&C Industry Chair from Engineering and Computer Simulations, Inc. and LCDR Steven Stasik, 2024 Government Lead from NAWCTSD will meet in Orlando, FL at University of Central Florida’s FIEA to play and discuss the submissions and vote to determine the finalists that will be showcased Dec 2-5, 2024 in Booth 2285 at I/ITSEC. The finalist games will then be evaluated by our global evaluators to determine who will win the prestigious SGS&C awards.

This updated website showcases the finalists and winners from all the SGS&C events dating back to the first one in 2006. It includes a search tool to find information about the exemplary serious games that have been featured by SGS&C.

International Challenge Updates
One entrant won’t have to wait to learn if they made the finalist list! The 2024 SGSCE (https://dset.co.uk/seriousgames/) Champion, Innovation Award Winner, Wings-101 by Blueflame Digital will be featured as a finalist in the 2024 SGS&C. We can’t wait to showcase this game and hear the I/ITSEC community’s reactions.
Collaborations with SGSCE held as part of DSET and SGSCA held as part of the Australasian Simulation Congress allow us to showcase top efforts in serious games from throughout the world. We thank the organizers and volunteers who make those events happen and for their support of their winners in participating as part of the SGS&C.

SGS&C grew from a Team Orlando initiative spearheaded by Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division and sponsored by National Training and Simulation Association (NTSA). SGS&C’s first I/ITSEC was 2006 and it has been a thriving part of the I/ITSEC experience since, bringing first-in- class serious games and novel game design and technology demonstrations to the I/ITSEC community.
