Designed to put the power of pundits in educator’s hands, Voters Ed gives students an unbiased look into US political history and the presidential election process. With Voter’s Ed, students learn about the election process, explore historical results, follow candidates’ bids for the nomination, analyze polls, and make their own predictions for the coming election. Students explore historically-accurate poll data and can simulate the results of elections. Voter’s Ed also allows students to apply their learning as they create prediction maps that can be entered into a class-wide or school-wide competition.

Game Overview

In Election History, students view historically-accurate data from every U.S. presidential election dating back to the first election in 1789. In Primary Pursuit, students track progress as candidates seek each party’s nomination for the presidency. As primaries take place, the delegate counts and map will be updated with the results.The Prediction Map is where students can simulate the results of the election. As they make predictions for individual states, they see how the Electoral College works as they analyze information about each state’s population and voter registration numbers. Voter’s Ed also provides video lessons explaining the Electoral College and the primaries in order to help students understand and evaluate these important features of US politics.

With Voter’s Ed, students learn about the election process, explore historical results, follow candidates’ bids for the nomination, analyze polls, and make their own predictions for the coming election.

Grades 7-16 students

In addition to providing ways to explore history, Voter’s Ed allows students to apply their learning as they create prediction maps that can be entered into a class-wide or school-wide competition. Knowledge of the Electoral College comes into play as students make state-by-state predictions as well as forecasts of the national popular vote.
