Ver Vision Trainer is an immersive VR training experience designed to strengthen the visual and cognitive skills that influence athletic performance. Athletes complete fast-paced exercises that challenge eye teaming, visual processing speed, peripheral awareness, tracking, focus, and reaction timing.

Unlike traditional VR experiences that present the same visual information to both eyes, Ver can independently control what each eye sees. This allows athletes to train how their eyes work together while simultaneously recognizing targets, processing changing information, and responding under increasing visual demands.

Sessions are short, repeatable, and designed to fit naturally into an athlete’s existing routine, including before practice, during warmups, or before competition. The goal is to train the part of performance that happens before physical execution: how efficiently an athlete sees what is happening, processes it, and responds.

Game Overview

Visual processing speed, eye teaming, peripheral awareness, visual tracking, reaction timing, and focus. Ver trains athletes to process multiple pieces of visual information at once, rather than hyper-focusing on a single cue. By improving visual efficiency, the training aims to reduce cognitive load, expand awareness of what is happening around the athlete, and help them recognize, process, and react to more.

The core challenge is to train the athlete’s brain to process the entire visual picture sooner and more efficiently.

The first task presents five arches, with one arch blinking. The blink alternates between the athlete’s left and right eye, requiring the brain to integrate information from both eyes to identify the target.

As the athlete progresses, the challenge becomes more subtle. The arches get smaller and the blink slows, requiring the athlete to detect increasingly difficult visual cues without hyper-focusing on one part of the scene.

The next level introduces a 3D challenge that the athlete can only complete by properly converging and coordinating both eyes. This is a key differentiator of Ver: progression is not based only on reaction speed or identifying a target. The athlete must demonstrate that the two eyes are working together correctly to advance.

Ultimately, the goal is to help the athlete process more of what they see at once, recognize subtle cues sooner, and build the visual efficiency needed to anticipate rather than simply react when they return to their sport

Ver is designed primarily for sports teams, athletic programs, and organizations. While an individual athlete can benefit from the training, Ver works best when incorporated across a group as part of a team’s existing training routine.

The team environment creates consistency, accountability, and competition through shared training and leaderboards, while also giving coaches the opportunity to observe how changes in visual processing translate to real-world performance. The goal is for Ver to become part of how a team trains, rather than another individual tool an athlete has to remember to use on their own.

Ver assesses athletes before, during, and after training. Athletes begin with a checklist that identifies how their visual system may currently be impacting performance. Inside the app, we measure successful task completion and completion time as visual challenges become more difficult.

We then use simple before-and-after physical or sport-specific tasks to evaluate whether the training transfers beyond the headset. Ultimately, success is measured by whether the athlete sees and processes information sooner and performs better in their sport.
