Pharmageddon: Survive the Shift

Organization:

Prism Studios Games (a division of PRISM AI Consultants)

Release Year:

Pharmageddon drops you behind the counter as the only pharmacist on shift. Prescriptions stack up, the phone rings, insurance denials pile in (the albuterol prior-auth denial is in there), and patients need you all at once. You triage, verify, and keep patients safe while the shift does everything it can to break you. Built by a PharmD who spent years in retail pharmacy, Pharmageddon captures the real rhythm and pressure of the job with dark humor, and asks whether you can keep quality and safety intact when there is never enough time.

Game Overview

Prescription workflow and verification; prioritization and triage when demand exceeds capacity; patient-safety vigilance under interruption and time pressure; navigating insurance and prior-authorization friction; and an honest understanding of the systemic pressures that make retail pharmacy hard, useful both to those entering the field and to those who work alongside pharmacists.

Survive each shift by keeping up with the flow of prescriptions and problems without sacrificing accuracy or patient safety. The challenge escalates each level as volume and complications rise, forcing sharper prioritization.

Pharmacy staff and learners (pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, PharmD students), healthcare educators, and general players. Minimum age 12.

The game assesses the player through shift performance (accuracy, speed, and safety under load) and gate-keeps progression on it: staying safe and keeping pace advances the player to harder shifts, so the assessment is built into whether you can survive the next level.
