Lifting with Scissors is a fun, challenging game that abstractly teaches users various safe protocols and features of the scissor lift, without outright showing as a traditional educational game. Players will aim and throw a series of balls from the basket of the scissor lift into various containers scattered around a level. While attempting to throw these balls into the containers, they are presented with the option of gathering up to 3 bonus objectives scattered around the level that will further reinforce and stress proper safety protocols taught through a linear content course. From environmental hazards to choosing the right machine for the job, players will gain a better understanding of when and how they should use their scissor lifts.

Game Overview

How to deal with scissor lifts in adverse environments such as wind, slopes, rough terrain and tight working conditions. How to choose the right machine for the job and the limitations of each machine.

Throw or place the required amount of balls from the scissor lift platforms into the corresponding container placed somewhere in the level. Optional content includes gathering anywhere up to 3 hardhats placed throughout the level for added challenge/learning.

The optional hardhats scattered throughout each level help to quantify the amount of learning each player accomplishes with each level, as most learning objectives are encountered while attempting to gather the hardhats. As Lifting With Scissors is the final component of the course it is a part of, there is also a multiple choice final exam that takes place once the minimum amount of progress has been made in the game.
