Microchip Mayhem is a fast-paced, multiplayer game where up to four players control robotic workers in a simulated microchip factory. Players collaborate to build complete robots by creating individual components: heads, bodies, arms, and bases. Each component requires processing through four specialized machines, mirroring the complex production steps of real-world chip manufacturing. The ultimate goal is to produce the most completed robots before time runs out

Microchip Mayhem is primarily designed for adolescents with limited knowledge of the microchip industry. The game aims to introduce complex industrial concepts in an engaging and accessible way, sparking interest and curiosity about the world of technology and manufacturing.

Efficiency: This metric measures how many robots a player can build per unit of time. It can be calculated by dividing the number of robots built by the completion time of the game. A higher efficiency score indicates that the player was able to build robots quickly.

Accuracy: This metric measures how many mistakes a player makes during the game. It can be calculated by subtracting the number of mistakes made by the player from 1 (representing perfect accuracy) and then dividing by the total number of actions taken by the player. A higher accuracy score indicates the player made fewer mistakes.

Completion Time: This metric simply measures the amount of time it takes a player to complete the game. A faster completion time can indicate that the player is more skilled at the game.

For the optimal experience, we recommend playing with 2-4 players. Wired or wireless controllers can be used, with our preferred wireless options listed in the special hardware section.
